The ceremony and reception are to be held at
6:00 pm Mountain Standard Time
Monday evening the 24th of November, 2008
in Dickinson, North Dakota at the lodge house of the fraternal order of Elks.

They will be married by an officer of Stark County and are expecting roughly 70 people.
The colors of the wedding are fall colors more or less. The flower is the Antique Green Hydrangea and so most all their colors are based on this or some complimentary to it.
Amy and Marvin will sit at a "sweet heart" table by themselves while the other tables of friends and family surround them. There will be toasts, a cake and dancing and the DJ may round us up for games, etc.
They will have a DJ at the reception and Amy and Marvin have been making banners from various happy patterned fabric of differing shapes which will be strung across the ceiling of the hall.
I'm sure the banners will be wonderful since Amy is an artist. She had a show before she graduated this past summer with a master's degree from Arizona State.

Her family (who is this?) came for her show

as did Marvin's. (photos by Wendy)

Amy is now directing the fiber arts program at the Interlochen Arts Academy, a boarding high school in Michigan. While looking at their website, I couldn't help from grabbing this one, done by Rachel Lowing. Is she a student or faculty, Amy?

Most everyone from out of town is staying at the Comfort Inn before the wedding, where Marvin will probably share a room with his brother Scott and a good friend from college named Jeff Elliott whom he has not seen since the Olympics broke up in Utah some 5 years ago. They are both red-heads so he is "hopeful they will figure out how to stir up trouble in sleepy Dickinson, ND."
They are registered at (these are links you can click on)
Target,
Macy's and
Bed Bath and Beyond
These are from a pre-event:

Marvin's button says GROOM.
